Anthony Briscoe

Anthony has been with Telecom since mid 1989 in senior roles for the Telecom's international business and between 1996 and 1998 he was responsible for the domestic wholesale business. Since 1998 he has held his present role as General Manager, Telecom New Zealand International.

Anthony was instrumental in changing TNZI from a New Zealand based, traditional incumbent international carrier to a situation where it is now a world leader in its field, with offices in London, Dubai, Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney and Los Angeles.

Anthony initiated the development of Telecom New Zealand's interest and investment in the Southern Cross Cable system and represents Telecom on the Board. He is also a Director of Airways Corporation.
