Dave Frow
Dave is a former CEO of state owned enterprise ECNZ and a former Chairman of Transpower. In more recent years he has been a company director, senior energy advisor and strategic management consultant, specialising in mentoring and structural reform consulting. He is Deputy Chairman of Unison Networks Ltd (power lines), Director of ETEL Ltd (electrical transformers) and Chairman of International Housing Solutions Ltd. He was also a Director of Waste Management.
Dave was a key figure in the energy reform in New Zealand throughout the commercialisation and market creation period. As CEO of ECNZ, Dave managed the separation of the organisation and was a key player in the creation of the wholesale energy market.
Dave holds a degree in engineering from the University of Natal and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Programme.
